Fall Family Photos...

It's Fall...

The past few weeks we have been attempting a family photo since it has been a few months since we had one!  So hard to get all of us looking and semi-smiling and not looking goofy.  

Big Siblings...

We...Jeremiah and Lydia want to inform you that we are going to be a big brother and big sister to a little brother Lord willing the middle of March.  Mommy and Lydia are being overtaken by boys.  Praying the Lord continues to prepare us for this little life in March and that the Lord would give us wisdom in raising this new little boy to be a courageous leader who walks with the Lord and serves Him with his whole heart, mind and strength!  

If you ask Jeremiah the name of the baby- he might inform you the baby's name is Zacker or Foodoo or something- funny kid.

Burwinkel Farms

 This year we were trying to find a fall activity for our family that did not cost a lot.  We decided to go to Burwinkel Farms which was free except you had to pay for the hayride.  The kids loved the corn pool.

 We also went on a hayride to pick our own pumpkin and Jeremiah walked and walked around to pick his perfect pumpkin.  

 His prize selected pumpkin!

 They also had a small corn maze and a hay bale maze which was fun for the kids.

 Lydia especially loved walking around touching and trying to pick up each pumpkin.  She was a funny girl!  That was our fall family outing one Saturday.

College Hill Pumpkin Patch...

A week or so ago, I took the kids Saturday morning to the College Hill Pumpkin Patch! 

Lydia loved the pumpkins!  Jeremiah loved the pony ride- he was a big boy this year and rode it ALL by himself!  

Lydia loved the corn in the swimming pool - they had a few little animals to pet and a snack and some crafts!  A fun thing to do down the road while Daddy works on his Sunday School lesson on a Saturday morning!

Lately...

 Jeremiah has found it more comfortable to sleep on the floor during nap time.

 And Lydia- well, she had a few good falls this week on her forehead!  The girl's head is a magnet these days as she walks around.  This week she fell off the couch during story time right before bed and hit her head hard on the coffee table- I have to admit- we called our dear friend who is a doctor.  He gently reaffirmed us the swelling on her head was a good sign and that she would probably be fine.  She definitely looks like she has been in a battle this week!

Trains, Trains...

 Jeremiah loved our Saturday visit to some trains and an apple festival!  He got to climb in the engine and ring the bell- super fun!  Lydia was so jealous- the assistant let us climb up into the engine as well!

B is for Bugs...

 This was the week we went to the zoo for our B week to look at all the "Bugs."  Jeremiah loves it- I just get a little queasy looking at all those bugs- gotta love boys and their bugs though!

 We even found a really neat feather- I think from a peacock!  Jeremiah loved carrying it around!
