We decided one night the week of our "hibernation" theme week to do an indoor campout. This lasted for two nights, every child had a tent to sleep in- we could barely walk in their room.

Polar Pals Arctic Adventure
Polar Pals Arctic Adventure- This year we learned about polar animals- Antarctica and the Arctic- penguins and polar bears. We made an igloo, decorated with penguins and polar bears and made cute little penguin snow globes and played relay games, a pinata, read books, ate lunch and did a book swap. Each child brought a book wrapped and we played musical chairs so each child went home with a book of their own.

Happy 3rd Birthday Josiah!
Happy 3rd Birthday to Josiah! We are so thankful for this little guy! He got to go out to donuts for his birthday this year with Daddy! We took him the night before to IHOP for free pancakes- he loves pancakes! Josiah has grown a lot this year! This year, his voice has gotten louder and he definitely asserts his rights. He loves to sing in bed or in the car at a very loud tone! He loves to play with Jeremiah (who he calls "wawa") and Lydia! Josiah loves to follow everything anyone does! He is a great cleaner and loves to wipe down a table. He loves trains and especially loves Thomas the Tank Engine right now. He loves basketball since Jeremiah played basketball this winter. He is a sweet friendly fellow- love our little guy!

Lydia turns 5!!!
Lydia turns 5 years old! It is hard to believe Lydia turned 5 on February 18th! She got her birthday balloon and got a donut with Daddy. We had my parents in town that day so we got to go to the Aquarium in the afternoon for her big day. The next day was President's Day and she had her cousin and another little friend over for a tea party! We love you Lydia! Lydia is growing into a very dynamic fun loving girl! She LOVES to dress up and dance and act things out! She loves to play with babies and play house with her brothers! She loves to play with Joel and take are of him and hold him. She loves anything princess, shimmery and beautiful. Lydia is really growing in her craft making skills and coloring and is taking her time more and more. We have seen the Lord really grow her desire to help and serve around the house. We pray in this new year the Lord will grow her inner beauty even more.
