Easter 2018

 This year at Easter, we dyed Easter eggs with some friends.  Then we read our Bible Story book.  Holy Work, we hid and talked about our Resurrection Eggs, washed each other's feet and celebrated the Last Supper and Good Friday.  Because the kids were sick toward the end of the week, we didn't do much for Easter day but had a great day celebrating the Resurrection of Christ.  

In other more current news:  we are gearing up for a big week here in our household. Michael has been working on completing his dissertation and this Thursday he does his dissertation defense for an hour.  We are excited and grateful and praying his presentation goes well this week.

St. Patrick's Day Party

 This year, we had a St. Patrick's Day party.  We had lots of green food and wore green attire and had fun with some friends celebrating the life of St. Patrick.

Joel 9 and 10 months

 Joel- 9 months

The boy loves to smile and play with his siblings.  He loves to eat.  Still no movement but he loves to sit there and still enjoys sucking those two middle fingers.  The kids has pretty wild hair.  He can get it into a pretty good mowhawk.  

 Joel- 10 Months

Joel loves his little chickie for Easter.  These are his Easter pictures.  He loves to eat and is getting great at eating with his fingers.  He has loved to drink from a sippy cup lately as well.  He loves to suck his middle fingers and loves his siblings.  He is into making noises with his mouth right now!  He loves making noises.  Hard to believe little Joel is almost 11 months. 

Field Trip Mama...

 I was reading an article about extroverted homeschool moms and it said that you would love to organize and go on field trips.  That is so true of me.  I love field trips and some of my favorite are hands on exploring nature.  We took a Wildflower field trip and went on a hike through the woods in a nature preserve.  Jeremiah discovered a crayfish in the creek, almost caught a garner snake and we saw some deer as well- lots of wildlife.  And praise the Lord for these beautiful days this week to enjoy some "spring" weather!  We are ready to get outside!

March Getaway

 In March, we did a little getaway to Louisville to use the pool and see the Seminary and get away.  We also got to visit with the dear Wojnicki family.  We very much enjoyed their hospitality and visiting with them!  It was refreshing to get away even if it was for a 24 hour time frame.  Nice to get away and be refreshed.
