Jeremiah turns 8!!!!

 Jeremiah turn date on February 7th! He spent the evening having dinner and we invited a friend over to surprise him and we tried our hand at laser tag for the evening. Michael and Jeremiah when in and enjoyed games together with other homeschool friends. Jeremiah was counting down the days to his birthday and really enjoyed the day. He loves Legos and loves building Legos, he loves time with his friends. He enjoys anything physical swimming and loves to run as fast as he can and do races. He loves learning and has an inquisitive mind. We are so thankful for his life and how God continues to mold and shape him. I pray the Lord will continue to draw him to himself and use him for his glory. Happy 8th Birthday Jeremiah!

Gigis Birthday!

 Last week, we celebrated Gigi turning 101. This wonderful lady remains to me such a model of a Godly woman. She is always kind caring and patient and thankful. She is always encouraging others and I always walk away from time with her feeling blessed. God is still using her mightily in the lives of her family as well as everyone she meets. She still reads her Bible faithfully and reads Max Lucado books and goes to a prayer meeting every week and Bible study at her nursing home. She is modeling for me and my kids how to walk Faithfully in these older years. I had her in a few of her girlfriends over for dinner one night last week and was amazed at the stories of these women throughout their lives and how God worked in and through them. It really was encouraging it's just sit back and listen to stories of faithful women.

Sledding

 The first snowfall in January, we hit the slopes. One of our favorite memories from this month was getting a group of friends from Co-op together in the hill in the back of our house to go sledding. The kids were all excited about the snow and because it was wet snow we were able to build a huge snowman. Such fun memories from our snow month. Ever since I can remember, I am slightly addicted to sweating. There have been times where I will run out back during that time and just go sledding by myself. It was a little more treacherous the years I was pregnant as Michael warned me not to do it. I have fond memories of sledding with sweet friends Seminary. One of the best things about the winter is fun in the snow. And of course she can't forget the hot chocolate, my kids are really loving hot chocolate this year.
