Red River Gorge part 2

While we were gone, the kids watched movies with Pop-Pop and Mom-Mom and Mom helped me go through all my clothes.

The last day we hiked up to Natural bridge overlook.  And also hiked up Courthouse Rock across a beautiful ridge trail.

We are away celebrating our 15th anniversary without kids!  It rained a bit yesterday but today we were able to hike.  At 32 weeks pregnant, we will see how dore I will be tomorrow.

Fall festival

 

I planned a Fall festival for some International friends last Saturday.  It was a lot of planning but a lot of fun.

Books

We are plugging away with school, waiting for Baby Lyons to come in 8 weeks.  We have really enjoyed this book and the kitten is a picture of us visiting a friend.

Jeremiah is starting to make pies.  He has an interest in baking.  The sweet boy insisted on making a pie for our anniversary.  We have been reading Gentle Ben in school and loving this book.

Today we celebrate the 15th birthday of The Lyons Family! Happy Anniversary to my wife, Erin, who has enriched my life in more ways than I can count. God has worked through her in a powerful way over 15 years, blessing our family both inside and outside of our home. She is a pretty special woman, and I would marry her again in a heartbeat. :) Our kids are richly blessed to have Erin as a mom, a role model of a godly woman. Happy Anniversary, Erin!
