O Christmas Tree...

Last week after Thanksgiving we went to lovely Home Depot and trekked through aisle upon aisle of trees to find the perfect one that we could "chop" down for Christmas! Needless to say- Jeremiah was having a particularly "meltdownish type day" and so we took a detour by the train track inside to warm up as he kept saying- "It's cold..." Ahh- the joys of tree shopping with a little ones- esp. whiney ones! While my mom would have spent hours on the tree farm trekking up the hill to chop a perfect tree- we settled with Home Depot this year and after looking at only 3 trees- we said- we'll take this one really quick and let's go. At least Lydia was happy! :) I think Jeremiah's highlight- getting to pull the cart with Daddy with the big Christmas tree on it! Oh- the memories!
