Curious George Party- Part 2

This year, we decided to do a Curious George party for Jeremiah because he has LOVED Curious George throughout his 2s.  We just invited mainly family and a few of Jeremiah's friends.  His close buds right now are his cousin Jonathan and his best bud Jack Samad.  I think almost every meal time, he is saving his dinner for at least one of those two little boys.  :)  Everyone came for a spaghetti dinner which has been Jeremiah's favorite food along with pizza.  And we made monkey cupcakes.  Everyone had to bring their own monkey to the party.  We even had Uncle Mark & Aunt Becky come over and Uncle Mark graciously agreed to be the Man with the Yellow Hat.  We had dinner, and then did a reading time with the Man with the Yellow Hat, opened presents, had a few games- pin the banana on the monkey blindfolded, the pinata that the boys could not whack open very well and then of course, the cake.  We gave take homes of a banana to each friend as well as a monkey stick craft which we never made it too.  Here are some pics of Jeremiah's fun birthday party!  Special thanks to the Man in the Yellow Hat- he was a true success and we could not have picked a better guy for the part!  He was great!

Dinner:  Sausage Spaghetti, noodles, garlic bread, salad

Dessert:  Curious George Cupcakes & Ice Cream

Schedule: 

5:30pm- Dinner- Kids Eat in Kitchen, Adults in Living Room…

After Dinner:  (6:30pm)

Special Appearance of Man with the Yellow Hat-  (Michael  or Mark V.)-  Read Curious George Book to the kids!! Read 2 Books!

Pinata Time:   Get out bats & take turns hitting the piñata and getting breaking it down

Give Monkey Some Dinner:  Put picture of Monkey on the Wall & Try to Put some Bananas near his mouth…

Monkey Craft:  Or Take Home- Make Little Monkeys on Popsicle Sticks

Dessert & Gifts:  Sing & Blow candles- Curious George Cupcakes
