Butterflies

A friend dropped off some caterpillars on our doorstep when this virus started two weeks ago.   We have been loving watching them eat and now they are getting in their chrysalis formation. We are looking forward to watching them change into butterflies during the season. They have been a fun and  good reminder for us of the amazing work of God in creation.

We have been memorizing the poem
All Things Bright and Beautiful, by Cecil Alexander.

All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all. He gave us eyes to see them, and lips that we might tell how great is God Almighty, who has made all things well.

Pansie ministry

Before the shutdown, we bought some pansies and I have been making little pots with crosses to remind people of the hope of Resurrection and dropping them off at people's doors.  It is my mission for this season of seclusion.

Celebrating our friend!

We are celebrating Sarah Brown, our dear friend who is getting married soon.  We are so excited for her!  We are so thankful for Zach who the Lord has brought in her life.  We did a shower for her last week which was neat!  And my roommate and high school friend stayed with us, it was fun.

Pet Party February 29

The theme for the February birthday month is Pets!  Saturday we did a party at the church complete with live ferrets, bearded dragons, birds, bunnies and frogs.  We had a station where you can adopt a stuffed pet, another station to make a collar for the pet and  a home for the pet.  We had a pinata, cake, an obstacle course and lots of fun!
