Appalachian Trail Carvers Gap

Our first day in Tennessee, we hiked the Appalachian Trail at Carvers Gap.  There was high winds and snow and ice but it was so fun.  We want to go back here.  The hike on the top of the ridge is beautiful!  We have heard that it some of the best trails on the AT.  The ice and snow were fun too.  

 

Fairhaven Ministries

 

We had a great Spring Break getaway at Fairhaven Ministries in TN.  Explored Roan Mountain State Park and hikes and visited with our friends the Johnson's.  

Weekend with friends

Stephanie and Michelle came down to Greenville for the weekend.  We had a lot of fun together.  Then my roomie and friend Sara Fillmann came through on their way to Florida, such a fun lunch together!  It was fun to see Rob and Caleb and Eric as well.  

 

Josiah 11th Birthday!!!

Happy 11th Birthday to Josiah Feb 28!!  He had a laser tag birthday and arcade time.  Everyone had a lot of fun!  Then we came back to our house for pizza and dirt dessert.  Josiah loves to garden and play baseball.  He still loves to draw and loves Legos.  We are thankful for this boy.
