Soccer

Jeremiah playing soccer this Fall.  We have really appreciated the YMCAs focus on fun and learning instead of the crazy competitiveness at this young age in many leagues.  We also are so glad they do not play on Sundays!

Cincinnati Observatory

On Thursday night, we went to the Cincinnati Observatory to view their stargazing night. We were able to look through huge telescopes and saw the rings of Saturn as well as Jupiter and its moons. One of my favorite parts was seeing the moon with its deep craters so up close. It was a reminder of how big God is and how small, a brief spec we are on this Earth. I need these reminders. We have been memorizing Psalm 8 and echo, what is man that you are mindful of him and the son of man that you care for him. Oh Lord our Lord how majestic is your name in all the Earth.

Happy 14 Anniversary!

I woke up to these beautiful flowers and 14 sweet heart notes from my hubby!  Marriage is a gift for this journey of life, definitely undeserved.  Praising God for 14 years with my wonderful husband!  So thankful!

York Fair

A highlight of our trip to York Pennsylvania is not only visiting my new niece but also visiting the York Fair.  I got my ham and swiss sandwich, saw some shows, a demolition derby and had yummy food even saw a man with alligators do a show!  It was fun!  Lots of fun memories!  We love you Aunt Rachel and cousins!

Visit to see cousin Elianna

This weekend we came to York Pennsylvania to see our new cousin, Eliana Grace. My sister had a little girl 3 weeks ago. We have taken the kids bowling, gotten some Rita's Italian ice and went to Nixon nature center and did a little hiking with the active boys in our group. I brought a few meals and I've been cooking dinner and just visiting with my sister and the cousins. My mom,e sister and I even got to squeeze in a little outing for lunch yesterday.

Our week

Our week, I admit that getting back to school has made life a little crazier this fall. Maybe it's the age of my kids but everybody is super active and busy and it's hard to stay on top of things. We are enjoyingng our weeks though, and grateful for what God has given us. This week we got to do some end of the summer activities going to a Reds game with our free library tickets and going to a parade and little festival.   We are always on the lookout for free activities.  A friend of ours at the Reds game pulled out Jeremiah's loose tooth so now he has lost his two front teeth.  More later...
