Day 4

 

Visiting St. Andrews Bay State Park...  Looking for gators... It has been very windy and today there were two red flags out meaning that you cannot swim in the water. They even had an airplane flying with dangerous riptides stay on shore.

In the evening, we met with some dear friends from college days. We were so thankful they are vacationing in the same area and we were able to have ice cream with them.

Day 3

Day 3- Visiting amp Helen State Park, going on a little hike.  Still no alligators.

Pinnacle Port

From Alabama to florida, we counted up to 34 dead armadillos on the road on the way.  Maybe more than that!  We are enjoying the beauty of Florida!

 

Road Trip Lyons Family Vacation

 We are headed to Florida for some rest as a family after a full year!  We are splitting up the drive and made it to Sweet home Montgomery, Alabama.  Isn't this a cool rest stop?
