Charleston

We had a sweet visit to Charleston this weekend with sweet Ohio friends!  It was a blessing!  We had beautiful weather and walked a lot through the whole city.  It was so refreshing.  How I miss these dear sisters!  They came bearing gifts for the kids and meals!

Happy 8th Birthday to Josiah!  Josiah is such a sweet boy!  He loves to draw and plays cars with Joel.  Josiah has done soccer and baseball this year.  He is a great big brother to Judah.  We are so thankful he is in our family! 

Happy 10th Birthday!!!

 

Happy 10th birthday to Lydia!  She got a bunny for her birthday.  She named him Nibbles.  He's a Holland Lop.  We had a lovely mother daughter tea.  Our theme was Anne of Green Gables and we shared our favorite books.  Lydia is such a sweet young lady!  She is helpful and serving.  She loves little babies.  She has enjoyed doing ballet this year and has been learning some Spanish and French and is back to piano.  She is diligent and a hard worker and loves to color and draw.  She loves to talk to her friends in Cincinnati.  She has been a faithful letter writer this year.  We love our sweet girl!

Lydia's 10th birthday!

Lydia's 10th birthday outing.  We went to a restaurant and shopping.  Then we saw the show Beauty and the Beast.  It was a fun evening!  

 

Blooming trees

 

The cherry trees are blooming the beginning of February and there is a beautiful tree I found that blooms in January. It is called the Camilla tree.  It is stunning. It looks like a tree with roses all on it.  It was 75 today.  Winter in South Carolina.  

Jeremiah is 12!!!!

 

Jeremiah is 12!  He's on the verge of the teen years.  He still has a lot of energy and loves to explore.  Saturday, we had 4 boys over for pizza and Root beer floats and a live Clue game.  Then the boys played Laser Tag outside.  Today we went hiking at CIU and ate dinner in the cafeteria.  Jeremiah's gift is to take a Vision flight at Jaars in a month.  He is so excited to go up with a pilot in a plane!!  He can't contain his excitement!  We are thankful for God's work in Jeremiah's heart.

New Year's Eve
