Jeremiah turns 11

 Jeremiah turned 11 today!  He is such a fun kid.  He is so full of energy and fun.  He loves to work hard outside and is dreaming about his summer lawn mowing and weed wacking business and service opportunities.  He is enjoying karate this year and is now an orange belt.  Jeremiah really loves visiting people and is very social.  For his birthday, he wanted a dog theme.  He has wanted a dog for so long.  We spent his birthday visiting some puppies at Petland and running a with a friend's dog.  He also go to go visit a neighbor's dog.  Jeremiah loves his doggie friends.  He also had a boy birthday party on Saturday complete with sled riding and ramping on the sled.  They also got to play snow football with our neighbor's dog.  The boys played some games and enjoyed some root beer floats.   On Sunday, Jeremiah took a daddy/son outing to Skyline Chili and a used Lego store where he bought a big Lego ship.  Jeremiah had a very fun day.  Friday night, he also had an unexpected Star Wars movie night with all the snow.  It was a fun weekend with festivities for Jeremiah's birthday!  11- here he comes.

Christmas in York PA

We enjoyed our trip to York Pa for Christmas.  We got to meet sweet little niece, Hailee Delp.  

We took the kids to the Railroad Museum in Strasburg, PA and saw many neat old engines and locomotives.  We also went to Rocky Ridge Lights one night and got hot chocolate and ate cookies.  It was a fun trip and we are thankful for the opportunity to go.  I didn't get a picture, but I was able to see my dear friend Sara F.  I really enjoyed visiting with her this Christmas as we met half way.  We have been friends for 30 years and I am so grateful for her continued friendship through the long haul!

 

Christmas Day

Our Christmas day involved getting up at 6:30 to do Christmas presents with the kids and have breakfast.  Then Michael did a half hour prayer time with our church.  We then headed downtown to Christ Cathedral Church to go to their 10am Christmas day service.  It was neat to see such a beautiful cathedral at Christmas and the service was beautiful.  We walked around downtown with our friends and saw Fountain Square and the Christmas tree.  We then came home and took quick naps and headed to Michael's parents house for the afternoon.  

 

Christmas Activities

Singing in the Christmas Cantada, Creation Christmas lights, Weaver Family Farm with friends.

We celebrated St. Nicholas Day at the beginning of the month!  We always visit the Mt. Healthy Nativity.  We had a Gingerbread making party, an International Christmas party and 

 

Judah's Birthday Blessing Party!

We had a little "Snowman" themed birthday blessing party for Judah!  He has his little cake and we visited with many dear friends that helped us celebrate and pray for the gift of our little boy!  We love little Judah Obadiah Lyons!
