Joel turns 7!!

 

It's hard to believe it's been a few months since I updated our blog.  The school year has wrapped up and time seems to be plugging along.  Joel said he turned seven on the 27th of this month and we celebrated his birthday on Memorial day.  He got a bike for his birthday as well as got to go out for a donut with daddy.  He also really enjoyed going out to lunch with Mommy to a pizza buffet, CiCi's.  In the evening we had a little birthday party for Joel. Joel was going around inviting everyone we know to his birthday party. Joel is a fun loving, very energetic and extroverted little boy. In the last two months he is gotten very excited about his bug collection. He loves to collect lizards, frogs and bugs that he can find and exchange them with his neighbor friend. He also really enjoyed when we studied rocks for school this year and had an avid rock collection and still loves to find crystals and even Judah is following him in this endeavor.  Joel has started his first sport activity, joining the swim team this summer and Thursday night he swam his first two races very excitedly.  We are so thankful for this big 7-year-old.

We also celebrated Michael's birthday on the 22nd with getting him a kayak and paddles that he and Jeremiah can use on the Saluda River in Lake Murray near us. He was very excited and surprised about this gift.
