Visit with Parents part 2
We also went to visit Parky's Farm with my parents and Jeremiah got to see more animals. The rest of the time they helped me watch Katy (18 months) who I have been watching two days a week this Fall. She is a sweet girl but it was definitely nice to have a few more hands especially when we walk to the park. Mom mom helped me organize kids clothes- a daunting task that never ends- and Jeremiah got a hold of her permanent red marker and wrote all over the hallway wall. I have threatened to bring all my permanent markers to York when we come in November and let Jeremiah at their walls. :) Mom forget she has a 2 year old in the room. They also took Jeremiah and Lydia to story time one morning- Mom lost Jeremiah and had him paged- will Jeremiah come to the front desk- I thought that was funny- he is a 2 year old. :) The funny memories. Jeremiah's other favorite thing to do with Pop- read Curious George- he could read those books all day and all night!

Visit with My Parents!
My sister has been wanting so desperately to see pics of our time with my parents- so Rachel- here you go! My parents visited from Sunday to Wednesday this week. My dad was off work from the Gov. Shut Down as he works with the Department of Agriculture in PA. Sunday night- we visited a corn maze called Niederman's Farm. It was a fun place for little kids complete with hayride, corn maze, pumpkin patch, jump area, little tractor train, petting zoo and hill and tunnels for kids to crawl through. Jeremiah's favorite part- the tractor train, feeding the goats grass, climbing the hill and the tunnels and just being with Pop and Mom-Mom- though Rachel- he did keep asking where you were at and kept saying that we were going to be driving to Rachel's house. We will have to drive over to visit you soon. :)

Apples, Apples & Apples
We have had LOTS of apples in our house! A few weeks ago we got two big boxes of apples from Country Fresh and my sister-in-law Laura & I have been applesaucing! She has been teaching me tons about canning so we canned a ton of applesauce! I just love fresh applesauce and my mom made such good applesauce growing up! Jeremiah has helped throw the apples in the water to wash them and I have caught him throwing apples like baseballs! Oh my! We also went to A & M Orchard with Aunt Becky V and Sandy E.- two sweet sweet ladies from church! We had so much fun going with them especially since it was an hour drive away! Jeremiah loved eating the apples and was the official wagon puller while we picked the apples. He picked a few apples but for the most part pulled the wagon, climbed on hay stacks, pumpkins and chased a little stray cat.

Reds Game
Though the Reds lost last Saturday- we still enjoyed sweet fellowship with our friends- Steve and Emily Doughman! Mark and Lydia (only a few weeks apart) also enjoyed having bonding time together! This was Lydia's second game this summer- she has her brother definitely beat! Lydie is wearing the outfit Grandpa and Grandma Lyons got for Jeremiah and we decided to dress it up for Lydie by putting a skirt on the bottom. :)

Our Anniversary
We were so thankful last Tuesday to celebrate 8 years of marriage! Thankfully Mom Lyons was able to watch both kids and we went out to one of my favorite restaurants- Buckhead on the River near Newport. It was a beautiful night and we had fun sitting outside on the porch. The only funny part of the evening- the live DJ that was playing was not very good and made it a little hard to talk. We enjoyed a walk along the river and we picked out some of our favorite candies at a candy store along the river. But I refused to buy the centipede gummies! After having lots of centipedes in our apartment at times- I can't even kill them- they creep me out so bad! Michael got me these beautiful flowers and a pearl necklace which was so sweet and thoughtful! He is quite a guy!

Lydia- 7 Months
Again I am behind in writing about Lydia being 7 months- this is mainly for my remembrance sake. I write this after the girl has literally been screaming for the last hour. This month has been a little rougher for Lydie. She still gives sweet smiles and has wide eyes, but she has been fussier this month. I am blaming it all on teething- ha ha. She has been waking up more at night though the last few nights have been better. She gets fussier quicker and definitely has been more moodier lately. She ha times where she does not want Jeremiah even to touch her and we all know that while she is sitting so well- if she falls over- we have hysterics. She screams and cries big crocodile tears. I am hoping she does not become an emotional wreck when she gets older! :) So though she has sweet smiles- she def. is not all smiles- we just tend to take pictures of the smiles. At 7 months old-she began sitting up well and loves to play with her toys while sitting and especially loves her giraffe Aunt Becky V. got for her. Jeremiah can make her laugh like no other but he can also make her cry big tears. We are working on him being gentle with her a little bit more. Lydie got her first cold this week- I praise the Lord that this is her first cold when Jeremiah got sick much younger! We do not take this health for granted and are so thankful she is doing well! Here are some pics of Lydie at 7 months.
